The Nuremberg Laws defined Jews by “blood” and ordered a separation between the Jews and Germans 1("Antisemitism"). The purpose of the laws was to deprive Jews of more rights, the most prominent being that it banned Jews from marrying Germans 9(“The Nuremberg Laws”). Jews were denied employment by press and radio, as well as the right to public office or civil service positions. Jews were also excluded from farming, stock brokerage, and stock exchanges 3(Bradsher). Signs put up at stores, restaurants, and hotels that said “Jews not welcome.” These signs were also put on park gates and benches, so Jews couldn't use them 8("Impact of Nazi Policies").
